Pope Leo XIV is expected to visit Cameroon in the wake of post-election unrest that followed President Paul Biya’s re-election. A letter from Archbishop Samuel Kleda of Douala to the Governor of the Littoral Region, dated October 27, confirmed preparations for the visit. Meetings have been going on to coordinate security and logistics. The Pope is expected to deliver a message focused on peace, governance, and reconciliation.
