Noxolo Dube: A Rising Force for Youth, Culture and Opportunity in Zimbabwe

From the bustling neighborhoods of Nkulumane 12 in Bulawayo emerges a young woman whose ambitions stretch far beyond personal success. Noxolo Dube represents a growing generation of African youth leaders who see empowerment not as a slogan but as a responsibility.

An educator, youth advocate, performing arts promoter and model, Dube has steadily positioned herself at the intersection of creativity, leadership and community development. Her work is guided by a simple but powerful conviction: that talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not.
Determined to change that reality, she founded the Noble Performing Arts Organization, a creative platform designed to nurture young talent in film production, music creation and performance arts. Through this initiative, Dube is helping young people discover their voices while equipping them with practical skills that can open doors within the creative economy.

Yet her vision extends well beyond the stage.
Recognizing the structural challenges facing girls in rural communities, she leads ERGY Africa, a grassroots initiative aimed at empowering rural girls through education, leadership development and sustainable life skills. The project seeks to cultivate confidence and independence among young women while preparing them to become economically active contributors to their communities.

Dube’s advocacy has also connected her with broader continental efforts focused on women’s empowerment. She serves as an ambassador for the She Elevates program presented by the JB Dondolo, which promotes education, hygiene awareness and leadership training for young women.

The initiative aligns closely with her personal mission of strengthening communities by investing in the potential of girls.

At the heart of Dube’s philosophy lies a profound respect for cultural heritage. She believes that Africa’s traditions, creativity and local knowledge systems can serve as powerful engines for sustainable development.

Through advocacy and public engagement, she encourages young women to harness their talents and participate in sectors such as tourism and cultural enterprise.

Her presence in pageantry reflects that same purpose driven approach. Currently contesting in the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2026 competition, Dube views the platform not merely as a contest of beauty but as a stage for ideas, leadership and social impact. For her, the crown would represent an opportunity to amplify conversations around youth empowerment, culture and inclusive economic growth.

Whether in classrooms, community initiatives or creative spaces, Noxolo Dube continues to demonstrate that leadership is not measured by titles but by the lives one chooses to uplift.

In a continent where millions of young people are searching for opportunity, her work stands as a reminder that change often begins with a single voice willing to create pathways for others.
